Paul Felix pulled a lot of inspiration for the Disneygraph from the style of Tyrus Wong. To go along with the Disneygraph, the Disney Animation Research Library archives pulled out some very old concept art from famous Disney artist Tyrus Wong, who was the original artist who created the minimalist background painting style used in Bambi.
